a teacher of English as a Second Language, K-12, with a specialization in writing and literacy. I earned my Masters Degree in Teaching from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. I have taught in public and private schools in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, and New York. I have also trained teachers of Hmong Refugees at the Phanat Nikhom Refugee Camp in Thailand.

a musician: singer and flute player. I studied flute at New England Conservatory, Boston University School for the Arts, and Tanglewood. I still enjoy playing a great deal, and wish I did more of it.
I also love to cook, read, travel, play guitar and piano, sing, play Scrabble and Boggle, and spend time outdoors in nature.
I currently live in Tomkins Cove, NY with my family, 2 cats, Minnow and Zoe, and an adorable guinea pig named Luigi.
